Council Chamber Broadcast

In July 2001, Sussex County began broadcasting County Council meetings live via the Internet.

This site uses Windows Media Player for audio. Please use the link below to download the application.

The video feed will automatically install an Active X Control in your Internet browser, enabling you to watch the meetings. For Microsoft Internet Explorer users, two prompts will ask for permission to install the viewer. Once installed, the video will begin.

If for some reason you are unable to install the Active X Control, you may click here to download the installation file. The file is in .zip format and requires Winzip or any other compression program that can open .zip files. Once downloaded, double-click the file to open it with Winzip. Click "extract" to choose the directory and extract the file to it. Once finished, navigate to the directory where you extracted the file and double-click on "setup". Click "yes" to the software agreement then click "next" to choose the directory path where you wish to install the program. Click "finish" to complete the setup process.

Please note that you can listen and watch proceedings at the same time by first selecting "Listen Now" and then choosing from the three available cameras.
