Sussex County Council took time Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, to congratulate and honor outgoing Third District Councilwoman Joan R. Deaver for her service to Sussex County, which will end Jan. 3, 2017 when a new member of Council is sworn in. Council President Michael H. Vincent led other members of Council in making remarks, and presented Ms. Deaver with a proclamation and plaque commemorating her eight years of service to the County.

Ms. Deaver, who did not seek re-elction, thanked her fellow Council members, County employees, her constituents, and her family for their support during her two terms on County Council.

Sussex County thanks Councilwoman Deaver for her dedicated service, and wishes her all the best as she enjoys retirement!
