On August 9, 2022, the Sussex County Council adopted the 2021 International Building Code, (IBC) Chapters 1 – 26 & 35 and the 2021 International Residential Code, (IRC) Chapters 1 -10. These codes will take effect beginning January 1, 2023.

Please join Sussex County staff Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 2 pm for an online presentation of the adopted changes, followed by a question and answer session.
